The Special Olympics Romania Foundation organised in June 2022, at the Cluj Arena stadium, an Athletics Competition and a pilot testing event ("Performance Stations") of training and information stations for 70 people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics is a global movement that harnesses human potential through the transformative power of sport. To date, Special Olympics has helped more than 27,000 children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities to be active citizens of the community.
